- Foldable and Portable: Many users appreciate the foldable design, which makes it easy to carry around. The included gift box is a nice touch for gifting purposes.
- Sturdy for Its Price: While it’s made of lightweight plastic, some users found it surprisingly durable, especially for a budget-friendly drone.
Cons:
- Cheap Plastic Feel: Several customers noted that the drone feels lightweight and cheap, which might not inspire confidence in its long-term durability.
- Fragile Legs: One user mentioned breaking a leg during their first flight, highlighting the need for careful handling.
2. Flight Performance
Pros:
- Beginner-Friendly Controls: The one-key takeoff and landing, altitude hold, and headless mode make it easy for beginners to get started.
- Indoor Flying: Users found it easier to control indoors, where wind isn’t a factor. It’s a great way to practice before taking it outside.
Cons:
- Wind Sensitivity: The drone’s lightweight design makes it highly susceptible to wind. Multiple users reported losing control of the drone in even mild breezes, with some losing it entirely.
- Unstable in Outdoor Conditions: One user compared it to their DJI Maverick Pro, noting that the NH525 was nearly impossible to control outdoors, especially in windy conditions.
3. Camera Quality
Pros:
- Decent 1080P Footage: For its price, the camera delivers acceptable quality, capturing vibrant colors and sharp details in good lighting conditions.
- FPV Functionality: The real-time video feed is a fun feature, allowing users to see what the drone sees.
Cons:
- Poor Video Feed Connection: Some users found the FPV feed unreliable, with lag and disconnections making it difficult to use effectively.
- Limited Usefulness in Wind: The camera’s potential is undermined by the drone’s instability in windy conditions, making it hard to capture smooth footage.

5. Customer Support
Pros:
- Responsive and Helpful: One user praised NEHEME’s customer service for addressing their concerns and providing tips for flying the drone.
- Replacement Offer: In some cases, the company offered replacements for lost or damaged drones, which is a positive sign of their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Final Thoughts: Is the NEHEME NH525 Worth It?
The NEHEME NH525 is a mixed bag. On one hand, it’s an affordable, beginner-friendly drone with some impressive features for its price, such as the 1080P camera, FPV functionality, and foldable design. It’s a great option for indoor flying or for those looking to dip their toes into the world of drones without breaking the bank.
On the other hand, its lightweight build and wind sensitivity make it less reliable for outdoor use, especially in anything but perfectly calm conditions. The short battery life and occasional connectivity issues with the FPV feed are additional drawbacks.
Who Should Buy It?
- Beginners: If you’re new to drones and want an affordable way to learn the basics, the NH525 is a decent starting point.
- Indoor Enthusiasts: It’s perfect for flying indoors or in controlled environments where wind isn’t a factor.
- Budget-Conscious Buyers: At its sale price of around $25, it’s hard to beat for the features it offers.
Who Should Skip It?
- Outdoor Adventurers: If you plan to fly in windy conditions or need a drone for serious outdoor use, this isn’t the best choice.
- Experienced Pilots: Those with prior drone experience might find the NH525 underwhelming compared to more advanced models.
Final Verdict
The NEHEME NH525 is a solid entry-level drone for beginners and casual users, but it has its limitations. If you’re looking for a fun, affordable way to learn the ropes of drone flying, it’s worth considering—just keep your expectations in check and avoid windy days. For those seeking a more robust and reliable drone, you might want to invest in a higher-end model.

Comments from Amazon:
Got it on sale for $24.99+taxes. Not a complicated drone to figure out the logistics, but it is very light in weight. My first launch, with no prior experience, was able to fly it okay. That is after I broke one of its leg, and crashed it many times. Not that I didn't learn quick enough, but the light wind, with the light weight drone, it became uncontrollable even you max the speed as suggested. My son is an experienced flyer with his $300 drone, flies his drone well in the same condition, but can't control my newly purchased drone in this kind of windy condition either. Bottom line, it worth the price for my purpose if learning how to fly a drone. Batteries lasted about 30 minutes with crashes in between. Camera is decent for 1080p, 2 photos from cell phone illustrated the condition after the crashes, 2 others took from the drone to show the quality of the camera.
Update The company heard my concerns and disappoint in losing my drone after the first flight. They graciously took care of me and provided a few tips to practice learning to fly it. After opening the drone and practicing indoors, flying is much easier, and at this price, it is the perfect starter drone to learn to fly with! Still suggest not flying outdoors on windy days and keeping it low to the ground. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was impressed with all the stuff you got and the design. It's cheap, and you know that once you hold it as it's made of cheap plastic. Flying is tricky as you need to learn to fly it just by watching the drone rather than the video feed the feed could be better with a better connection. Additionally, I would recommend not flying it with any wind. I mean, NO WIND at all. I had a DJI Maverick Pro, and it was fantastic and easy to fly and control; however, I never used it, so I sold it. I purchased this one to mess around with, and when I went it fly it for the first time, it was almost impossible to control; the video feed was useless, and soon as it got above 15 feet, the 5 - 10 MPH wind grabbed ahold of it and sent it flying into the horizon. With no video feed or GPS, it was gone for good. So If you are going to buy this, use it to learn and fly in an empty field away from anything!
Bought this during Prime days, thought it would be something fun and different to play with (I'm 55 and looking for a new hobby). Anyhow sat in the box a few days until I could find some free time in an evening. Charged the batteries, took it out to the back yard, and started to get the feel of it. I was only flying it by standing directly behind it, so forward/backward/left/right the movements corresponded to the movements of the controls (I was a long way from flying with the camera). Long story short, several times the drone seemed to lose contact with the remote and keep flying in whatever direction it was going when it lost contact. The last time, it went over the back fence and out over the neighborhood pond. I've walked around the pond several time since then, and put out a request on the neighborhood FB page to keep an eye out for it... at this point I have to assume it splashed in to pond never to be seen again. So, 10 minutes into my new hobby, it was over, and I was out $65. Very disappointed!!

I really like the product. It’s so nice and it’s easy to use. I really recommend this product.
I had high hopes for the NEHEME NH525 Plus Foldable Drone, especially given its features and affordable price, but my experience with it has been underwhelming. While it’s marketed as beginner-friendly, I found it anything but. What Didn’t Work: Difficult to Control: The controls feel clunky and imprecise, making it hard to fly smoothly. Even after several attempts, I struggled to keep the drone stable, which was frustrating as a beginner. Easily Blown Away by Wind: Any slight breeze makes flying this drone almost impossible. It gets tossed around like a toy, which makes outdoor use very unreliable unless the weather is perfectly calm. Not Intuitive: The instructions are poorly written, and the app isn’t user-friendly. It took me a lot of trial and error to figure out basic functions like pairing the drone with the remote and initiating the camera. A more intuitive design would have made a world of difference. Poor Battery Life: The advertised battery life is overly optimistic. In my experience, each battery barely lasts 7–8 minutes, which isn’t enough time to enjoy the drone or get meaningful footage. Having two batteries helps, but the downtime for recharging is inconvenient. What I Liked: The foldable design and carry case are convenient for portability. The 1080P camera is decent for a drone in this price range, though don’t expect high-quality footage. Final Thoughts: This drone might work as a toy for kids or as a short-lived novelty, but for anyone looking to learn or enjoy the hobby seriously, it’s a disappointment. Between the poor stability, limited battery life, and unintuitive controls, it’s hard to justify even its budget price. 2/5 stars – There are better beginner drones available for a little extra cost.
I recently purchased the NEHEME NH525 drone from Amazon, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. From its sleek design to its impressive performance, this drone truly stands out among its competitors. First of all, I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality of the NH525. It feels sturdy and well-made, giving me confidence that it can withstand some rough handling. The foldable design also makes it incredibly portable and convenient to carry around. When it comes to performance, this drone delivers exceptional results. The camera captures stunningly clear footage with vibrant colors and sharp details. Whether you're taking aerial photos or recording videos, you'll be amazed by the level of quality you can achieve with this device. The flight stability is another standout feature of the NH525. Thanks to its advanced GPS system and altitude hold function, the drone hovers steadily in place without any drifting or wobbling. This makes capturing smooth aerial shots a breeze even for beginners like myself. The battery life on this drone is quite impressive as well. With a single charge, I was able to enjoy around 20 minutes of flight time before needing to recharge. Additionally, the included spare batteries allow for extended flying sessions without interruption. One aspect that sets the NEHEME NH525 apart from other drones in its price range is its user-friendly interface and intuitive controls. Even if you're new to flying drones, you'll find it easy to navigate through various modes and adjust settings according to your preferences. Lastly, I would like to highlight NEHEME's excellent customer service team who promptly addressed my queries when I reached out with questions about operating the drone effectively. Overall, I highly recommend the NEHEME NH525 for anyone looking for an affordable yet high-performing drone. Its remarkable features such as HD camera, stable flight performance, and user-friendly controls make it a fantastic choice for both beginners and experienced drone enthusiasts. Don't miss out on this exceptional value!
