Designed for kids aged 4-12, this drone offers a unique blend of features, including 3D flips, circle fly, altitude hold, and even a battle mode with infrared bullets. With its colorful LED lights and dual functionality as a drone and RC car, it promises endless entertainment for both kids and adults. But does it live up to the hype? Let’s dive into the details based on real customer experiences.
Pros and Cons: What Customers Are Saying
1. Fun and Versatility
One of the standout features of the ARMEW EC220 is its versatility. It’s not just a drone—it’s also an RC car, making it a 2-in-1 toy that offers double the fun. Customers love the Fly Mode and RC Car Mode, which allows for thrilling drifts and races. The 3D flips and circle fly features add an extra layer of excitement, especially for kids who enjoy performing aerial stunts. One reviewer mentioned, "These drones are incredibly fun and straightforward to operate, making them perfect for both beginners and experienced pilots."
The battle mode is another highlight. Using infrared bullets, players can engage in aerial combat, and after three direct hits, the losing drone is forced to land. This feature adds a competitive edge that keeps kids (and adults) entertained for hours. A satisfied customer shared, "The battle mode is a blast! It’s so much fun to compete with my son and see who can land the most hits."
2. Ease of Use
The ARMEW EC220 is designed with beginners in mind. Features like altitude hold, headless mode, and one-key takeoff/landing make it easy for kids to control the drone without getting frustrated. One parent noted, "It’s very easy to use. My nephew and I figured it out in less than 5 minutes." The three speed modes (low, medium, high) also allow users to tailor the drone’s performance to their skill level, ensuring a smooth learning curve.
3. Durability and Safety
Durability is a key concern for any toy, especially one that involves flying and crashing. Fortunately, the ARMEW EC220 seems to hold up well under normal use. One reviewer mentioned, "I crashed it a couple of times into walls and trees, and nothing happened to it." The full propeller guards made from durable Nylon ABS plastic provide added protection, making it a safer option for younger kids.
4. Battery Life and Charging
The drone comes with four rechargeable batteries, which is a big plus for extended playtime. However, some customers have reported issues with battery life and charging. One user noted, "The battery lasts about 5 minutes, and the charge time is over an hour." While the included batteries are convenient, their short lifespan can be a drawback for those looking for longer uninterrupted play sessions.
5. LED Lights and Aesthetics
The colorful LED lights are a hit among users, especially for nighttime flying. The lights create a mesmerizing effect, making the drone more engaging and visually appealing. One reviewer said, "The LED lights are a fantastic touch, especially for flying in the dark—they really make the experience more immersive." However, some users have reported issues with the LED on/off button not functioning properly, which can be a minor annoyance.
6. Quality Control Issues
While many customers have had positive experiences, there are some reports of quality control issues. For example, one user mentioned, "At the first flight, one drone was not responsive to the control." Another reviewer expressed disappointment, stating, "Don’t waste your money. Find one that will actually last." These issues highlight the importance of purchasing from a reputable seller who offers good customer support and return policies.
Conclusion: Is the ARMEW EC220 Worth It?
The ARMEW EC220 3in1 Battle Drone is a fun and versatile toy that offers a lot of value for its price. Its dual functionality as a drone and RC car, combined with features like 3D flips, circle fly, and battle mode, make it a hit with kids and adults alike. The ease of use, durability, and colorful LED lights further enhance its appeal.
However, it’s not without its flaws. Some users have reported issues with battery life, charging time, and quality control. While these issues are not universal, they are worth considering before making a purchase.
Final Verdict: If you’re looking for an affordable and entertaining drone that offers a variety of features, the ARMEW EC220 is a solid choice. Just be sure to buy from a trusted seller and keep an eye out for any potential quality issues. Overall, it’s a great gift for kids and a fun way to spend quality family time.

came quicker than I thought and everything was great and it looks great and it's just a great product
Battery lasts about 5 minutes then it won't fly, and charge time is over an hour. LED on/off button doesn't work so the lights won't shut off. Every time you turn it on you have to adjust all the trim adjustments.
Such a fun toy to have, especially when It comes in pair of two. It's very easy to use , just read the instructions. Easy to take off n land it . Me and my nephew figured it out maybe in less than 5 minutes . First we flew them outside then even inside. Lights looks very cool and it does tricks like flips. I crashed it couple of times into walls and tress , nothing happened to it . It's very fun activity to do with your kids . Would definitely gift it to my friends and their kids

Plus, they double as RC cars! With features like altitude hold, three speed settings, and both drone/car modes, these drones offer endless fun for both kids and adults. Highly recommend
Don’t waste your money. Find one that will actually last. Was cool to play with kept my son entertained for the 3 weeks they worked. Disappointed should have gotten replaced or money back.
These were a Christmas gift. At the first flight, one was not responsive to the control. Since it was purchased early, there is no way to get a replacement. Very disappointed. Update: I changed from 1 to 4 stars because the seller refunded my money after reading the review.
