So, I wasn't expecting a whole lot considering the price of the drone was around $20 when I ordered it but I was pleasantly surprised. The drone does come with a battery. It charges by removing from the drone and plugging in the included micro usb cord into your own charger/usb port. The kit comes with various pamphlets / manuals and looks like two versions of the same quick instructions. It's mostly in English with Chinese instructions on the reverse with the manual being in multiple languages. The device has a power on button and the remote needs three double a batteries (not included). Once both are turned on, they connect to each other immediately without needing to be paired. I did try the android app as well and it's find for video/pictures. The actual video isn't amazing but it's OK. IT has a forward (tiltable) camera as well as a downward facing camera. The downward camera is not worth using. The main camera like I said is OK. Similar quality to most doorbell cameras that are 1080p. Flying was mostly straight forward with the controls. I tried it before reading instructions and figured out most of the movement. Special buttons like 360 flip I did check to verify in the manual. The good : flies pretty well and is intuitive foe the most part. The not so good : sometimes it decides to veer off. Mostly with the ground effect in play it will have issues close to the ground. It did try to attack me once at around head height but I was able to correct in time. It's a small device, I'm Resistant to use it outside in the wind (windy the past week) as I think it could easily get lost. For the price, it's a fun toy and if your expectations aren't too high, it should be fun to play with. Also, it does come with a nice case and some spare blades.

It took off and I started trying to fly it, barely missed getting tangled up in our ceiling fan then on into the kitchen where I was able to land it without breaking anything. So, I think anyone who takes time to read the directions could easily fly it with complete control. It's an outstanding drone for the price and it's easy to fold up and take along on outdoor excursions. Comes with 2 rechargeable batteries for the drone. You need 3 AA batteries for the controller.
