Comments from Amazon:
Being a little too old to enter into RC interest, I found this plane to be extremely easy to learn to fly. Very enjoyable to pass time and for personal entertainment. Having a little difficulty with adjusting hover drift, but believe I will get it resolved in time. Recharge time on the batteries is pretty good. For a beginner, I would highly recommend this S152 model. This is a update: Lost control and drone flew off into adjacent field, thank goodness for one button landing. still try to find way to control drift while hovering, will work on it. oh yea, got stuck in tree branch. having great time anyways.
Functionality and control seems good from a quick indoor trail. Has lots of power it seems from playing with it inside but waiting for the weather to be nicer to take it out for a real test. Camera quality leaves a bit to be desired but it works enough to see where your going. Durability is questionable being foam but I had a larger foam drone that held up pretty well to the abuse so time will tell how this holds up.
This plane had a lot of potential, wish I could give it a good review. Since negatives outweigh the postivies-mentioned later-here we go -Negatives Tail screws almost impossible to assemble to tail, gave up and superglued-tail stayed attached after that Instructions incredibly hard to read, could not find manual online-customer service number could not fine, forget about finding manual and web site to install app for camera-gave up on that one-extremely poor walk through to set up plane instructions and app for camera-just be ready for visual flight only Flew for about 1-2 hours flight time, back motor stop working, plane completely spun out of control after that time. Total flight time before plane stop working...just about 1 hour. Positive, if they could get proper manual, support-guidelines -and if the plane worked...I was starting to enjoy it. Finally found the outside setting that helped with the wind-did stabilize, 360 did not work, but was starting to get the hang of flying over our dog at the park. Did take moderate amounts of punishment pretty good-would of kept plane if it did not loose back engine.
Great value for the money 😊
Sadly I have to give this very well made jet drone only three stars simply based off the very limited remote distance it has. I can only get about 15 feet away before it loses communication with the transmitter. Pros: -Well made and good size jet style drone -Actual adjustable camera -Very durable and can handle a lot of crashes (trust me on this one) -Two larger batteries -Considerable battery life Cons: -Remote distance is abysmal -Camera delay is awful All in all this would be a great beginner drone for anyone. However the fact that it can only maintain a connection to about 15 feet before disconnecting is awful. I did troubleshoot this the best I could and even went to the mountains where I knew there wouldnt be any interference and it still did it. I also checked the attached antennas on the transmitter board, and the flight controller and all seemed well. This is now only a indoor drone as you cannot fly it any meaningful amount outside. For the 15 feet it does connect it is very stable though and very easy for beginners. The lights are a nice touch as well.
I got this toy plane as a gift for my friend, and he absolutely love it! It's easy to control and perfect for beginners. The flip feature is super fun, and the navigation lights make it exciting to fly at night. The two included batteries provide plenty of playtime. It is in the pricey side though.
This little RC plane/drone is super fun and pretty easy to learn. Definitely go for the version with two batteries. You will want to keep flying past then battery limit of the first one. As is typical for a small drone, those little batteries can only hold so much charge. Love the design with the plane body on the drone platform. Much easier to learn and control than an RC plane or helicopter. AND if you are careful, you can fly it in the house! The camera is fun. Just keep in mind it is not meant to be a YouTube quality footage. It's pretty tough, withstanding some accidental run ins with door frames and walls. Definitely a worth the then purchase price!
