Nice toy drone for kids. A gift for my 14 yr old son. He loves it. We fly it indoors without any trouble. Easy to fly. Very stable in hover. Get 9 minutes of fly time per battery with 2 batteries is plenty of time for fun. This drone does much more than basic flight. It can fly in circles, do 360° Flips, and has lights toggling. Simple STEM modules are amazing, you can program its flight pattern through a very simple language called Scratch. It's on par with the price. This is definitely a nice toy drone for kids.
I'm really surprised at how much they are able to offer at this price point. In addition to having a drone that is lit up with LED lights, it's nice that it also comes with a 1080p camera and a dedicated remote as well as two batteries. The flight time is about 15-20 minutes for each battery which is about what I would expect for a battery this small. The drone itself is pretty lightweight so I would be very cautious about flying it on a windy day. The controls are pretty easy/intuitive. The footage on the camera, though, is not great. It's a bit choppy and doesn't capture video well when the drone is in motion, turning, etc. For that, I took away one star.
Flies very stable and it's pretty fast! flight controls support type 1 or type 2, software is really nice, find my drone works well, and the camera works reliably but with only 15fps it's not smooth enough to fly without line of sight (but you shouldn't fly without line of sight anyway.) it takes decent pictures and it does stream video to the phone but it's hard to keep steady. I found improved performance by swapping to gemfan 1mm shaft 40mm 4-blades, or 35mm tri-blades. The 4-blades were smoother and faster but the 3 blades were more agile and rigid in cornering. I tried this because it seemed like with original 2 blade props it was drifty in corners, and this swap was a meaningful difference! Company seems very responsive to feedback and engaged on socials, seems like a good growing brand also. 9/10 considering all the cool stuff this does and the low price, it's really a great deal, just buy it and you won't regret it. Excellent drone with camera and propeller wrap design, it has bright colors and is very safe to fly indoors. I gave this to my nephew age 12 for his birthday. It was quick to set up and flew pretty well. With little help, he was up and flying away. He loves it. Battery timing is long-lasting and safe. The gift is ideal for your children to have a good time.
