The Specta Air Drone’s dual-camera system is one of its standout features. With a 24mm wide-angle lens and a 70mm medium-telephoto lens, users can capture diverse perspectives with stunning clarity. The 4K/60fps HDR video and 48MP photo capabilities have left customers in awe.
Pros:
- Crystal-Clear Footage: Many users praised the drone’s ability to capture vibrant, lifelike details. One reviewer mentioned, “The picture quality is fabulous, and the telephoto lens with 3x zoom is spectacular.”
- Versatile Shooting Options: The vertical 2.7K filming mode is perfect for social media content, allowing users to capture unique, portrait-oriented shots.
Cons:
- File Size: The high-quality footage results in large file sizes, which can quickly eat up storage space. A user noted, “Get a large SD card because the recorded file size eats up data.”
2. Battery Life and Flight Performance
The Specta Air Drone boasts an impressive 46-minute flight time, which is significantly longer than many competitors. This extended battery life allows users to focus on capturing the perfect shot without constantly worrying about recharging.

3. Usability and Features
The Specta Air Drone is designed to be user-friendly, with features like obstacle avoidance, auto-return, and pre-set filming modes. The remote controller with a built-in 5.5-inch HD screen adds to the convenience, eliminating the need to use a smartphone.

4. Durability and Build Quality
The Specta Air Drone is built to withstand moderate wear and tear, making it a reliable choice for both beginners and experienced pilots.
Pros:
- Durable Construction: One user shared their experience of a crash, stating, “My Air 3 sustained only prop damage after cascading down from tree to tree.”
- Stable Performance: The drone’s weight and design contribute to its stability, even in windy conditions.
Cons:
- Lack of Carry Case: The absence of a carry case was a common complaint among users. A reviewer said, “I rated this product 4 out of 5 stars due to the lack of a carry case.”
Conclusion: Is the Specta Air Drone Worth It?
The Specta Air Drone is a high-quality, feature-rich drone that delivers on its promises. Comments from Amazon:
This is my second drone. I bought this particular one as it is a clone of the DJI Air 3 down to the internal design. I am a part 61 and part 107 pilot. Flies tremendous due to its weight. The dual cameras are easy to use and control. There are several pre set modes that work well. New designed control works really well with a clear image on the touch screen. I would recommend. Only down side is it only comes with one battery and getting an extra is difficult. I found one on Ebay so I am good for now.
What can I say about this drone that hasn’t already been said? I’ve flown this drone 3 times since I’ve received it. Crystal clear video on the controller, great drone response and suburb performance. I haven’t been in the drone game for long, maybe 2 years. Although this drone costs a little more than introductory drones, it’s well worth it! Take it from someone who has spent hundreds on drones before I purchased this one, this drone has it all!! Sport mode on this drone is epic, the altitude limit is beautiful and the range is, well honestly, mind blowing. The flight time with one battery is nothing short of spectacular!!! I honestly wish this drone came with 2 batteries, but if you want it all, a drone that will last, a drone that simply spectacular, this is it!!! I usually don’t leave reviews but this drone and this company deserve the time to make this review!
Its the most drone you can get for the price. Quality is awesome. The video is crazy crisp, obstacle avoidance works amazingly. Get a large sd card because it's recorded file size eats up data, but that because of how high the quality is. Only issue is that the never seem to have the spare batteries instock, which is a major pain considering that the charge time is 80mins when charging though the battery port with a good charger. So use that information as you want. Would be a 5 star if you could get batteries for it Also, you can't export video without a computer and card adaptor. I'd would be nice to share directly from the controller to your phone, or at least the lower quality file.
Excellent customer service from Specta battery life seems great overall quality is excellent great price point and and very durable capable product with many features making it easy to fly. It’s a larger drone compared to the minis and would fall under the part 107 requirements of title 14
I troubled over this purchase. My first 3 drones were not great, and I really couldn't justify investing in DJI products for a hobby. Fast forward 4 months since purchase...one crash - cascading down from tree to tree all the way to the ground. My cousin paid for the replacement props since he was the crasher. My Air 3 sustained only prop damage - to my great relief, and my cousins. This drone is not a professional's machine, but it will teach me everything I need to know (for now) to take my flying from hobby to profession. It is a great trainer...stable in moderate winds, fast, dependable, easy to learn. My praises are too many to list for this forum. Some of the other reviewers mentioned how difficult it was to get a second battery. I too experienced a mild version of that, but I was able to get another battery within a month after receiving my drone. Two batteries and 90 minutes of flying time are enough training for each day. My understanding is that DJI offers software upgrades and offers more flight options. I don't know if Specta does, but I would like to get more in the way of flight controls and options. If you watch any Media, think about how much of it is filmed by drones. This drone is a winner.
Easy to setup, download updates, initial safety checks & flight test. My first flight was in the house due to rain. But I had watched a video so I knew it was capable. Wow, very stable and I sticker avoidance was spot on. Sure it kicked up some air slightly moving a heavy rug but it was very easy to fly, hover and land manually and with the RTH button. The only thing that was a challenge was noticing the tiny check box for acknowledging when creating an account using the controller. Otherwise this was the easiest drone to setup and so far the easiest and best to fly—OK indoors. The favorite part is the controller is NOT my cell phone. I rated this product 4 out of 5 stars due to lack of a carry case, a second battery option and the difficulty creating an account due to the miniature check box to acknowledge. I would buy this drone before a FIMI, Bwine and Ruko. And as you may have seen this is ALMOST a DJI. This drone is worth the cost.
Initially I received a faulty drone and was a bit upset, however Specta customer service is magnificent. They stuck with me till the end and made sure I was satisfied and oh my is this drone fabulous. The picture quality, the battery life, the performance during flight, the drone quality, the controller, everything all around is marvelous. Setup was a breeze and flight is fairly easy. I did get 45 minutes of flight time as advertised. I did a range test and flew out 3 miles while still having all bars up on the screen. The drone never over heated or disconnected. It also has a very high wind tolerance. I fly by the coast where winds are always changing and had no problems whatsoever. The telephoto lens with 3x zoom is spectacular. If you’re looking for the right drone, this is it. The price might look scary but it is worth every single penny.
