I will be honest, I’m a DJI fan. This drone was given to me to “try”. I have to say, it’s a nice drone! Very sturdy, range is about two miles with low interference, and at 400ft. You will need to register with the FAA due to weight, but that’s easy. I’ve crashed it twice, blew some grass off, and went right back to flying. It does have RTH, and the other features are handy, like waypoints. Video quality is fine, light compact easy to travel with. Customer service has been phenomenal. They answer any question you may have professionally. I was skeptical, but this would make a great first drone for anyone.
I am a licensed professional drone pilot with about 14 years of experience flying drones. With that, let me tell you my honest opinions about this drone. Overall, I rate this drone as 5 stars because it is a great drone for beginners or intermediates. It is NOT the best drone for true professionals...but that is not its intended market anyway. Here are my significant observations after flying this drone for about two hours. Compared to the higher-priced DJI drones, this drone is not nearly as stable in gusty winds. This drone does not have the speed or responsiveness of higher-priced drones. This drone is not subject to DJI Geofence, but it will not fly over 400 feet, which is good thing, IMO. This drone does not have any obstacle avoidance, but that is good because many beginners make wrong assumptions about how good OA is and they mistakenly assume too much. The display on the controller is very dim and is difficult to see in daylight. This drone takes an abnormally long time to connect with its controller and get GPS satellites. I don't like that it requires you to calibrate the compass before each flight. If you are used to other controllers such as DJI, Autel, or Parrot drone controllers, you will find that the camera control wheels are reversed. That is important if you become very accustomed to the DJI standard controller. This drone is NOT a toy. It can be a great starter or intermediate drone for persons who are responsible enough to read directions and fly with caution. I think this drone deserves an honest 5-star overall rating.
60 min flight time perfect, imagine quality is great, and connecting it’s perfect even when is higher. Easy to learn how to use, the features are amazing.
I have Never flown a drone in my life and My first flight with this drone was awesome, very easy for a beginner. As I got to reading more about it and learning what it could do I think it's probably good for the pros too The GPS is awesome it really comes back and lands. It has a super long range, you can definitely fly it when it's totally out of sight, and it seems to fly fast, I always flew it on the medium speed setting and it was plenty fast enough. The video quality is awesome I would fly it around Truman lake the videos and pictures are excellent. Worth the money
I am new to drones and bought this as my first upgrade from a Ruko F11GIM2. The F11 PRO2 has a lot of nice features and battery life beyond what I expected, six flights and none less than 27 minutes. It's not under 250 grams but is really stable and the camera is awesome even though not professional grade.
I love this drone! I tried 2 of the holy stone models years ago, and they were so complicated to set up and they controlled horrible in any wind. The Ruko F11 Pro is amazing! Handels great! Even in the wind it’s able to maintain stability and speed! Takes me less than 30 seconds to set up and fly each use. It’s so cold outside so I keep running back to the car to warm up then right back at it! The 3rd speed setting is so Fast! Love how easy it is to control and how smooth the video recording is! Can’t stop using it! Overall, good buy! Best drone for the price other than the DJI’s. Buy this for your first drone, 100% Recommended. If you want top of the line camera, expect to pay much more. I’m happy with this quality for now. Don’t even care about not having a gyro. Love the movement for sport flying!
