I ordered this for my 8 year old and it's perfect for her. This was her first drone, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I wanted something that she would enjoy playing with. The drone is very easy to use and it didn't take her long to learn how to do flips and tricks with it (directions are included). The bright, colorful lights are an especially nice feature. It makes it easy to see when she's in low light areas and that helps keep it from crashing into things. I do wish the battery life was a little longer, but this drone does come with 2 batteries, so one is always on the charger (included).
