Pros and Cons: What Customers Are Saying
1. Quality and Performance
The DJI Mini 4 Pro has received rave reviews for its exceptional build quality and performance. Many users have praised its rock-steady 3-axis gimbal, which ensures smooth footage even on windy days. One customer shared, "Even on a breezy day, the image remains rock-steady. You can launch it, put it up a couple hundred feet, fly it a half mile away, and forget about it." The drone’s 4K HDR video capabilities and 48MP RAW stills have also been highlighted as standout features, making it a favorite among photography enthusiasts.
However, some users have reported missing items in their package, such as the charging cable, memory card holder, and cleaning kit. One frustrated reviewer noted, "At this point, the product is unusable without me purchasing extra items. This is horrible." While this seems to be an isolated issue, it’s worth double-checking your order upon delivery.
2. Usability and Beginner-Friendliness
The Mini 4 Pro is designed with beginners in mind, and customers have appreciated its intuitive controls and automatic flight modes. Features like ActiveTrack and True Vertical Shooting make it easy to capture professional-looking footage without extensive editing. A first-time drone user shared, "The mini 4 has fantastic flight mechanics. Smooth. No swirl. Stops completely when you take your hand off the sticks."
The RC 2 Controller with a built-in LCD screen has also been a hit, eliminating the need for a smartphone and simplifying the setup process. One reviewer mentioned, "DJI makes excellent drones. Very user-friendly if it's your first time. Nearly impossible to crash."
3. Durability and Safety
The omnidirectional obstacle sensing feature has been a game-changer for many users, providing peace of mind during flights. With six fisheye and downward binocular vision sensors, the Mini 4 Pro can detect and avoid obstacles from all directions. A customer noted, "Worry less about collisions when flying, even first-time users!"
The Advanced Return-to-Home (RTH) feature has also been praised for its reliability. One user shared, "When the power gets low enough, the drone will return home and land by itself." This makes the Mini 4 Pro a great choice for those who want to focus on capturing footage rather than worrying about navigation.
4. Battery Life and Accessories
The Fly More Combo is a popular choice among buyers, as it includes three intelligent flight batteries, extending the total flight time to over 90 minutes. The Two-Way Charging Hub allows users to charge multiple batteries simultaneously, which is a huge convenience. One satisfied customer said, "I recommend buying the Fly-More combo (two extra batteries!) and the 30-watt charger."
However, some users have expressed disappointment with the missing accessories in their package. While this doesn’t seem to be a widespread issue, it’s something to keep in mind when ordering.

The DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo is a top-tier drone that offers a perfect blend of performance, portability, and ease of use. Its 4K camera, omnidirectional obstacle sensing, and long flight time make it a standout choice for both beginners and experienced drone pilots. Jumped on the drone craze years ago. Could only afford cheap end drones $$$. So drones went the way of other old hobbies. A few months back saw a DJI mini 4 pro in action, did some research and purchased this. And boy is this really super fun. Cost is worth the investment and THE FUN. Looking at getting a FAA Part 107 certification. . DJI you've got a winner here. Would buy again. FUN!
DJI makes excellent drones. Very user friendly if it's your first time. Nearly impossible to crash the mini 4 pro has tons of cool features, such as active track, highlight the subject and the mini 4 pro will follow you wherever you go.
Received this today and all the items in red were missing: charging cable (REALLY?), memory card holder, cleaning kit, screwdriver and the replacement props. At this point, the product is unusable without me purchasing extra items. This is horrible.
I got this for my husband and he is so impressed with it.
I am new to drones. Spent the last month experimenting with an inexpensive drone that I got on sale. It was just too sketchy on its flight mechanics. Decided to go ahead and spend the money on a dji mini 4 pro. Wow. There is no comparison. The mini 4 has fantastic flight mechanics. Smooth. No swirl. Stops completely when you take your hand off the sticks. I have confidence in this one to go a mile away and come back. Not so with the inexpensive one. If you are on the fence whether the mini 4 pro is worth the money, then the answer from me is absolutely. No question. This drone flies wonderfully.
Excellent Excellent little drone It is quiet with lots of power lots of range and impressive camera and all kinds of advanced features that are fun to try out I would say well worth the money on this one Thanks Guys GOD Bless You
I love everything about this drone. I had built an FPV racing drone several years ago, using parts ordered from various hobby dealers, at a cost of over $1000. But it was heavy, and constantly needed my input to remain steady. The DJI Mini 4 Pro is a completely different device. It’s lightweight, and no FAA license is required in order to fly it legally. It has an awesome camera with a 3-axis gimbal. Even on a breezy day, the image remains rock-steady. You can launch it, put it up a couple hundred feet, fly it a half mile away, and forget about it. When the power gets low enough, the drone will return home and land by itself. I recommend buying the Fly-More combo (two extra batteries!) and the 30-watt charger.
