With its 4K/60fps HDR video capabilities, omnidirectional obstacle sensing, and extended battery life, this drone promises to deliver stunning aerial footage while ensuring safety and ease of use.
Pros and Cons: What Customers Are Saying
Quality and Performance
The DJI Mini 4 Pro has received rave reviews for its exceptional build quality and performance. Customers have praised its 4K/60fps HDR video capabilities, which produce crisp, vibrant footage even in challenging lighting conditions like sunsets and night scenes. One user described it as a "moon machine" due to its advanced features and controls. The omnidirectional obstacle sensing is another standout feature, providing peace of mind for beginners and experienced pilots alike.
However, some users noted that the drone struggles in windy conditions, especially indoors, where the wind generated by the propellers can interfere with stability. Additionally, while the GPS is generally reliable, a few customers reported issues with signal loss in certain areas, particularly when flying behind obstacles like trees.
Usability and Ease of Flight
For beginners, the DJI Mini 4 Pro is a dream come true. Many first-time drone users have found it easy to fly, thanks to its intuitive controls and safety features. The DJI RC 2 Screen Remote Control eliminates the need for a smartphone, simplifying the setup process. One customer shared their excitement about their first flight, emphasizing how the tutorials and instructions helped them get started quickly.
That said, some users mentioned challenges with the joystick setup and manual flying modes, which require practice to master. The beginner mode is a great starting point, but transitioning to advanced features can be a bit overwhelming for novices.
Features and Accessories
The bundle includes a 128GB SD card, a USB 3.0 card reader, and a waterproof backpack, making it a great value for the price. Customers appreciated the landing pad and strobe lights, which enhance safety and visibility during flights. However, some users wished the package included a DJI 30W charging block for faster battery charging. Instead, they had to rely on standard phone chargers, which take longer to charge the drone's battery.
Durability and Battery Life
The DJI Mini 4 Pro is built to last, with a durable design that can withstand minor bumps and crashes. The extended battery life is a major plus, allowing for longer flights without frequent recharging. One user compared it favorably to their previous DJI Phantom 1, which lasted five years, expressing confidence in the Mini 4 Pro's longevity.
On the downside, the backup batteries are expensive, and some users reported issues with signal loss when flying at longer distances. The drone's low ground clearance also makes it difficult to take off or land in grassy areas, necessitating the use of a launch pad.
Customer Service and Shipping
The seller of this bundle has received high marks for their excellent customer service. One customer shared their experience of receiving the package six days earlier than expected, complete with all the advertised components. However, the bundle ships in multiple shipments, which initially caused confusion for some buyers. A quick response from the seller clarified the situation, ensuring a smooth delivery process.
Value for Money
At its price point, the DJI Mini 4 Pro offers excellent value for money. It’s packed with features typically found in higher-end models, making it a great choice for hobbyists and semi-professionals. The under 249-gram weight means no FAA registration is required, adding to its appeal for travelers. While there are cheaper drones on the market, the DJI Mini 4 Pro stands out for its combination of quality, features, and ease of use.
Conclusion: Is the DJI Mini 4 Pro Worth It?
The DJI Mini 4 Pro Drone is a remarkable piece of technology that delivers on its promises. Its 4K video quality, omnidirectional obstacle sensing, and extended battery life make it a top contender in the drone market. While it has a few minor drawbacks, such as signal loss issues and the need for a launch pad, these are outweighed by its many strengths.
For beginners, this drone is an excellent entry point into the world of aerial photography. For more experienced users, it offers advanced features that can elevate your creative projects. The bundle kit adds tremendous value, providing everything you need to get started right out of the box.
If you’re looking for a reliable, feature-rich drone that’s easy to use and travel-friendly, the DJI Mini 4 Pro is a fantastic choice. Whether you’re capturing breathtaking landscapes or experimenting with creative shots, this drone will not disappoint.

Comments from Amazon:
If you like Aviation and like Photography, it really does not get any better than this.. As a complete beginner and first drone flight I'm completely overwhelmed but not so much that I can't tell how good this thing is. I could tell you about all my excitement & adventures of the first day out, but nobody lives that long. All I can say is, be very sure to take advantage of all the great tutorials & instructions before flying and before subsequent flights as well. The seller of this package is great! The package arrive six days before it was scheduled to arrive, and included everything mentioned on its Amazon page. Before taking the drone outside I carefully checked all components and made sure they were working good. Then I went to a spot with large open spaces and took my first very exciting flight. Although this is the first time I've had a drone, I am a retired engineer and know what I'm talking about when I say that this is a moon machine. So many rich features and controls it staggers the imagination, with tons of in-depth instructional videos that very much compliment the experience of using this drone. After having sworn off the idea of getting one of these, since I'm such a gadget freak and addict, I finally gave in after seeing some footage another guy got on Hollywood Blvd two years ago, and after seeing that I was sold. I lived near Hollywood Blvd for many years & had seen it many times, but not from the drone viewpoint. What a fabulous adventure!
First thing first. This does not ship as a single shipment. It came in three different shipments but within days of each other. I started a return thinking that I wasn't getting what was advertised. I was wrong. The seller responded quickly, within 5 minutes, and assured me everything was shipped. I actually received it the same day of my return request. So...rest assured if you order this kit you will get everything shown. I do wish that it came with the DJI 30W charging block but it's available separately. You can just use any regular 2A (20W) phone charger, it just takes a bit longer to charge. As for the product...I've only flown DJI drones. I started with the Mavic Mini and settled with the mini 3. Even for a nervous beginner these drones are very user friendly. If you want super HD go with the Mini 3 pro but for the hobbyist the regular is fine and it shoots 4k video. There are plenty of cheaper drones but this one ticks off all the boxes for a novice up to semi-pro. Another point is that it is under the 250g limit so you don't need a FAA license to fly it. Yes it is GEO locked to keep you from flying into airports, power plants and military bases but you can apply to bypass the GEO fence (not that I'm advising that since you have to identify yourself to do so). YMMV.
I bought this drone in March 2018, I flew it like 30 times, you cant' fly it indoors cause the same wind produced by itself plays against it. Outdoors the panorama is not so different, GPS is really lame and the fact that being a mid size aircraft that requires permission in every city, makes it very difficult to fly it almost everywhere. I've just flew it in Switzerland, in places allowed (there are a few), finally when I make sure that I have at least 100 GPS signal, I decided to take off, and in less than a hundred mts of distance, not height, just distance...I got a bunch of extreme warnings saying that the world is gonna end, I instinctively press the "return to home" button and nothing happens until I see 8 hundred bucks going to the garbage.
I waited for a good drone and found it. The positives: folds up small. Flies great. Good software for flying and editing videos and pictures. FVP (you watch where you are flying on your phone connected to the controller). Durable drone with sensors to not crash. Returns home automatically. Decent battery life. Flies well in wind and video is very good due to a great gimbal. Lots of flying options like fast sport mode. Very cool automatic filming options. Negatives: expensive backup battery. I can’t get mine to fly far without losing signal (it flies back automatically). Maybe I have a low distance setting. No sensors in back (I reversed into a tree branch one time). Transfer videos and pics to phone after flying takes a long time. Some geographical areas limit flight height and distance (this drone knows where it is). Signal lost if I fly behind a tree branch with leaves. Sits low to the ground—you can’t take off or land in grass so you need a launchpad. Ps: my DJI Phantom 1 drone last me 5 years. I upgraded to the DJI Mavic Air and the first 6 months I’m very satisfied. DJI is the Apple of drones (great product, great software).
Very Happy with my DJI Mavic Air. Koozam puts together a nice lil package with some extra stuff. The SD card they throw in is a lil on the slow side (according to the DJI software) and spec wise but Overall I’m satisfied...This drone really rocks! Thanks Koozam!
Just started with my Mavic Air and so far LOVE IT. Easy to fly out of the box and with a couple of extra batteries to recharge you can fly for hours. Using the phone interface is very simple, but I had some challenges setting up the joy sticks, and still have not been able to use them. That said, am able to fly, so that made my initial experience positive. It is good to familiarize yourself with the features for manual flying which will take some practice before you can thread the needle in manual ode. Beginner mode will get you up to feel your wings before you leave the nest.
Too many great reasons to buy this drone. Small enough you don't have to register it and the images are great. It's easy to fly and has a ton of safety options
