Like many people, I debated between this drone and the “other” company’s drone

If you’re planning on moving up to this level drone, then you will be blown away by this aircraft. Like many people, I debated between this drone and the “other” company’s drone. I watched countless UTube comparisons, read everything that I could find about this drone and really thought hard about which one to purchase. I am a professional photographer/ videographer and I produce high quality images and videos for independent as well as corporate clients. The quality of my equipment is at the top of my list of performance demands. The Evo 2 8k drone is an amazing drone! Autel really thought through every aspect of professional performance and product design. Like a high end DSLR, this drone has a lot of features and user settings. You can completely control everything from shutter, aperture, ISO, resolution, WB, angle of the gimbal and much more. It has all the mode settings that you will ever need, including single shot, burst mode, time lapse, aperture priority and shutter priority. You can set the resolution from 720P all the way to 8k. It has adjustable frame rate settings from 24fps up to 120fps. And the 48mp camera produces stunning stills. This drone has 6 mission assignments, including follow me; parallel flying for recording moving subjects; orbit for circling around a designated object; point-to-point flight path, waypath, where you can design your own flight route and Vitual Reality settings. You will have every possible combination of settings to do what you want to do. Now, let me talk about flying this drone. Flying this aircraft is a dream! The joysticks are tight like the steering wheel of a sports car. The lack of “play” in the joysticks makes for extremely precise flying. This drone responds beautifully to your movement commands. You can adjust the speed and the maximum altitude of your drone to suit your specific needs. The drone has obstacle avoidance sensors on the top, the bottom and on both sides. This drone is both larger and heavier than the “other” guy’s comparable drone. This makes this drone extremely stable in flight, which in turn gives you better stills and videos. Autel has built this drone with high quality materials. This does NOT feel like a toy! The controller is also well built and is not flimsy in the least. The intelligence of the controller is beyond excellent. It displays every bit of information necessary to give you an incredible flight experience. And the expandable cell phone holder will fit most phone models securely. A couple of closing thoughts. 1. Autel, the company is absolutely awesome! They are dedicated to be the best of the best for customer experience. I have had a couple of really pleasant email exchanges with them, even before my drone arrived. If you have any problems, or questions, they are really good at responding quickly. Lastly, please know absolutely that I am not a paid reviewer and I get no compensation at all for expressing my opinion about this drone. I can't even begin to describe mii excitement and satisfaction with this purchase! This is mii FIRST ever drone and let me tell you, I researched mii TAIL off on what drone to purchase before I dished out this kind of money LOL The 360 collision detection on this babii is just ridiculously awesome! I mean, it's a little irritating because it's always beeping when you get near objects BUT I'd rather have that then me accidentally running into something and mii drone end up breaking. The video and pictures are awesome! I wish I could add video on here but it won't let me because I haven't edited any of mii 4k footage down to a shareable size. The bundle I purchased was also a great deal! Coming with extra batteries (that are already a pretty penny on their own) and its own custom case was well worth the dollars I put into this. I personally opted to purchase a tablet for this as it doesn't have its own on-board screen to access the additional options and I didn't want to use mii phone. The reason for that is because I don't have control over the constant interruptions from other work and personal obligations, and I wanted the extra screen to be strictly dedicated to mii drone. So I purchased a harness pack (as you can see in the picture) that holds mii Samsung Tab perfectly. Mii only gripe with this is I'd like the provided cable to be a couple inches longer. It's not crazy short but just a few more inches would be nice. It's still not a buzz kill to make you not want to purchase this sucker ;) I am eager to know when Autel will begin development on a much larger remote that has its own on-board monitor where you can access all those functions from just one device like the Typhoon. If you're like me who takes joy and pride in those large devices that are "large" for a reason then you know what I'm talking about LOL The batteries run time is also a great bonus! These suckers last quite a bit when you're out flying. The specs are as state regarding these guys. They LAST! You will definitely get your money's worth with this bundle being that it comes with 2 extra batteries. This drone's gimbal is also a killer in its own right. I mean, Autel really has introduced a solid product for drone pilots and the overall drone industry. The first time I took mine out it was windy as hell. I did not expect for the footage to come out as rock solid steady as it did. The drone was shaking while it was flying, but when I got home to view the footage, I swear mii life on God that while watching the footage you could not tell for a millisecond that there was any wind. I was completely blown away. If you're a first-time drone operator looking to start flying or an experienced one THIS is the one you want to invest in! All of its capabilities make it stand out from the rest of the competition out there.

I had a nice DJI drone. The only problem with them is they are programmed to not fly in many locations. I get not being able to fly near an airport but there are more and more places that are deemed as no fly zones every month. Before anyone buys a drone they would be wise to check the no fly maps and see if it's legal to fly where they want to. I found a place that is miles and miles from Disney here in Florida but with their clout they had a huge no fly zone around Disney World. DJI honors all these zones and every update you do adds more of them. Your DJI just won't fly in these areas without you filing for special permission yada yada yada. DJI also keeps a record of every flight you make. I did some research and found Autel. They have zero restrictions on where you fly and you don't have the constant updates DJI has. The drone flys great. Battery life is far better than the DJI I had. The camera is superb. I am amazed at the detail I get from 400 feet. It is a quality drone. It has most of the bells and whistles the DJI had but nobody is telling you where you can fly and tracking your flights. If you don't want big brother looking over your shoulder when you fly then the Autel is your drone. Remember to always obey the rules etc etc.
